He has held senior executive roles in both public and private entities focused in Information Technology, Networking, Telecom, IPTV/Streaming, Consumer Market Intelligence & Web-based Commerce sectors. His leadership extends to all aspects of company value including market and revenue development, technology and products, finance and capital. Noteworthy are his early career at Nortel; later driving accelerated revenue growth at Telenex (now Inrange); and as a senior officer at Amnis s/Optivision (leadership team during public stock offering). He has significant global experience, leading business development throughout Asia and Europe – most notably, over 20 years developing markets in China.
Rich holds a BS in Mathematics from Villanova University and an MBA with Honors from Drexel University. He was elected to the prestigious Pi Mu Epsilon national mathematics honor society, selected for post graduate “executive simulation” programs sponsored by the Wharton School, formally recognized as a “primary market mover” in global streaming media, and nominated for Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. He also heads Market Insight Corp’s Hong Kong subsidiary, and participates in select University committees and “early stage” company Boards.

He conceived the unbiased product advisor, and brings considerable experience in the collection and use of market information, having twice served as Director of the U.S. Bureau of the Census. He was Manager of Market Research for the Xerox Corporation and Director of Market Intelligence for Eastman Kodak. Vince has been inducted into the Market Research Hall of Fame. He received the AMA’s Parlin Award for leadership in the application of science to the discipline of marketing research, the MIT/GM Henry Grady Weaver Award for individuals who have contributed the most to the advancement of theory and practice in Marketing Science. He is the of The Decision Loom (2011 Triarchy Press), Surviving Transformation (2004 Oxford) and Meeting of the Minds (1995 HBS Press). He was the founder and manager of the Analysis Research Group at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (Xerox PARC) from 1971 to 1979. From 1964 to 2000, he served on the Stanford University faculty in various roles and received a tenure appointment in 1973. He co-founded “The Art of Mathematical Modeling” in 1973, and has served on the Stanford School of Engineering Advisory Council.
